As far as we know, we’re the first group anywhere in the world to make pasta specifically to be low in FODMAPs so we are extremely motivated to get this product out to our potential customer base ASAP. We have trialled the pasta on a small scale on the mid north coast of NSW, and we now know that it is well tolerated by people with IBS (they reported no symptoms) and, most importantly, these people have told us how great it tastes, and their families enjoyed eating the same pasta as well! The pasta has been independently tested and it is extremely low in FODMAPs.
Right now, we need your help to raise the funds to begin commercial pasta production. We have been liaising with Fedora Pasta, a family operated business with over 35 years experience in professional pasta manufacturing, to produce the pasta on our behalf. The funds raised by this campaign will be used directly to pay the pasta production costs to Fedora, plus our storage, packaging and distribution fees. Any additional funds will be used to towards starting to produce different pasta varieties like spaghetti, penne and lasagne sheets, and then make these available to you at a later date.
