Welcome to the Good Gut™ Group

The creators of functional bread and grain product concepts (Australian Patent No. 2014262285; New Zealand Patent No. 629207; South Africa Patent No. 2015/07891) for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) consumers

The launch of Good Gut™ Bread and Good Gut™ Pasta allows Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) sufferers the freedom to enjoy bread and grain products that more closely resemble everyday products, in both taste and shelf life performance and that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

We have drawn on the latest research that has revealed a low FODMAP diet is a more appropriate treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) sufferers than the traditionally recommended gluten free diet.

Our bread and grain products deliver on the need for low FODMAP without compromising on your enjoyment.

Good Gut™ Bread

The Good Gut™ Group has launched it’s flagship product Good Gut™ Bread in Australia and it is fast building a keen following within our trial cohorts. We anticipate that Good Gut™ Bread will be available soon, once further product trials have been completed.

Those suffering IBS can look towards a low FODMAP diet to improve their symptoms. Our products ensure that sufferers who have in the past being on a gluten-free diet to help with IBS issues can now enjoy wheat containing foods without the associated discomfort.

Good Gut™ Pasta

For those people with IBS or who bloat when they eat too much wheat there is soon to be a choice – Good Gut™ Pasta. Our newly developed pasta recipe allows those following a low FODMAP diet to enjoy al dente pasta with the whole family. We anticipate that our pasta will be available soon, once further product trials have been completed.

Client Testimonials

Just bought 2 loaves…delicious. Have been looking for good bread for ages.

Thanks to the Good Gut Group.

I’m on my second week of Good Gut Bread.

So far so good!

My daughter follows a low fodmap diet for her Crohns Disease.

I purchased the bread for her last week and she loved it.

This bread really is delicious and I have no more bloating!!

I can eat bread again, and that is really, really important to me.

This will now be the only bread I buy (I used to eat gluten-free varieties).

I will be telling all my friends about this wonderful bread.

What is IBS?

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder affecting one in seven adults. It can be recognised by one or more of the following symptoms:

– abdominal (gut) pain and discomfort
– wind (burping or flatulence)
– abdominal distension (bloating)
– altered bowel habits (ranging from diarrhoea to constipation, or alternating between the two).

For more information check out some of our recent gastrointestinal publications here.

What are FODMAPs

FODMAPs – What Are They?

FODMAP is an acronym to explain the carbohydrate (various types of sugars) found in some food which can be poorly absorbed by some people, particularly those suffering from IBS.  These FODMAPs are not well absorbed in the small intestine and pass through to the large intestine.

For more information check out some of our recent gastrointestinal publications here.
